“Encourage” – Dumbo Original painting

“Encourage” – Encourage is a wonderful action. When we encourage others, we are giving of ourselves with their best interests in mind. We are demonstrating the courage to inspire them to do something with courage. We are stimulating development and helping to strengthen through enrichment. To encourage someone often comes from an ‘inspired’ place, and calls another to take a leap of faith and “Believe and Soar”.

The crows huddle with Timothy Q. Mouse to suggest he use a little psychology and a magic feather to convince Dumbo he can fly. As long as Dumbo thinks the magic is in the feather, he is able to fly, but in a sense, he is still unbelieving and tethered to the ride. But later when his friend Timothy Q. Mouse tells him the truth, that Dumbo has the power to fly without the feather, he learns and the tethers begin disappearing! Such may be a leap of faith!

Scripture tell us in 2 Timothy 1:7 “For God did not give us a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power, of love, and of self-discipline”.

“Encourage” sold as a 20″x30″ original acrylic painting at The Art of Disney. Deluxe Print reproductions are available at Disney Theme Parks while supplies last.
